Conflict, injustice, violence of every kind. What can give hope to those who want to commit to peace and unity? Two brief answers by Chiara Lubich speaking at the Mariapolis at Loppiano (Italy) on 15th May 2003.
In May 1987 Chiara Lubich answered a question from a young person at the little town of Loppiano in Italy, showing how Jesus Forsaken can be found in many ways and with many ‘countenances’ in the context of the world today. Her words were an invitation to recognise him and love him so as to build a more united world.
